1. Who we are

Astraea Ventures Private Limited (CIN U46909KL2026PTC105818), trading as Astraea Global Ventures™ (“Astraea”, “we”, “us”), decides why and how personal data collected through this website is used. Our registered office is at C/O Shibboo Thomas, Perumpral, Eramathoor P.O, Mannar, Chengannur, Alappuzha – 689622, Kerala, India.

This policy explains what we collect through the website, the contact form, the chat assistant and our email addresses, and what we do with it. We seek to comply with applicable Indian data-protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 as their relevant provisions become applicable, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 where applicable. It applies to everyone who uses the website, wherever they are located.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

• Your name, company, country, email address and phone number.
• Details of your requirement, such as product, quantity, timeline and any message you write.
• The content of your chat messages and emails to us.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and date and time. Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) records this to run and protect the site.
• Human-verification signals from Cloudflare Turnstile, which we use to keep automated abuse out of the chat assistant.
• If you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and how you reached the site.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data. Please do not send payment card, bank account, government ID, health or similar information.

3. How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, assess it and, where relevant, pursue the commercial opportunity with you.
• To keep the website and chat assistant secure and to prevent abuse.
• To understand and improve how the website is used, if you accept analytics cookies.
• To meet legal, accounting, customs and regulatory obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.

We process personal data with your consent where consent is required, to deal with an enquiry or potential business relationship that you raise, to meet legal obligations, and where otherwise permitted by applicable law. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for decisions that have legal effects on you made solely by automated means.

4. Contact form

The form on our contact page prepares an email in your own email app. Nothing reaches us until you press send there. What you send arrives at our commercial desk mailbox and is treated as described in this policy.

5. Chat assistant

When you use the chat assistant, your messages and any details you enter in its form (name, company, country, product, quantity, timeline, email, phone) are sent to our chat service at chat.astraeaglobalventures.com, which runs on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. The text of your messages is processed by an AI service to prepare replies. We record enquiries so that our team can review and follow them up.

The assistant can be wrong, and you should not treat its replies as advice or commitments. See our Terms of Use.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics only if you accept it in the cookie notice. Until then it is not loaded and sets no cookies. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page.

We have turned off Google’s advertising features and ad personalisation for this site.

7. Who we share it with

• Service providers that host, secure or support the website and our email, including Cloudflare, Google and our email provider, who process data on our behalf.
• AI service providers that process chat-assistant messages to generate responses and support enquiry handling.
• Suppliers, logistics partners and other counterparties, only where your enquiry needs us to approach them. We limit what we share to what is reasonably necessary, and generally do not pass on your personal contact details unless that is needed or you agree.
• Professional advisers, authorities and courts, where the law requires it or we need advice or to protect our rights.
• A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or restructured.

8. Transfers outside India

Cloudflare and Google operate globally, so your data may be processed on servers outside India. By using the website you understand this. We will follow any restrictions on transfers that apply to us under Indian law.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including any business relationship that follows your enquiry, and for as long as the law requires us to keep records. When it is no longer needed we delete it or make it anonymous. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our analytics account.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and human verification on the chat assistant. No online system is completely secure. If a breach affecting your data occurs we will act and notify as the law requires.

11. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

• ask for a summary of the personal data we process about you and who we share it with;
• ask us to correct, complete or update it;
• ask us to erase it, unless we must keep it by law;
• withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before you withdrew it);
• use our grievance process, and nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or cannot act.

To use any of these rights, email legal@astraeaglobalventures.com with the subject “Data request” and tell us what you need. We will acknowledge and handle your request within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India as the law provides. If you are outside India, you may have further rights under your local law, and you can contact us in the same way.

12. Children

This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact legal@astraeaglobalventures.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it, unless we are required to keep it by law.

13. Links to other sites

Links to sites such as LinkedIn and Instagram lead to services we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If a change is significant we will make it clear on the website.
